The HP Media Gallery’s Award Winning Exhibit Allows Visitors to Experience the News Interactively
Human Circuit was selected as the technology integration firm to participate in an effort to show the public how technology has drastically changed the collection and dissemination of the news. Empowering citizens, while challenging traditional media business models is a true turning point in news culture and Human Circuit was happy to have been a part of that evolution.
The HP New Media Gallery opened in April of 2012 and features more than 140 touchscreens and 145 video screens for streaming video. The eye-catching exhibit is extremely interactive and allows visitors to watch news in real time, explore key events, create customized news pages, compete in quiz games and view social media feeds.
Human Circuit worked collaboratively with Hewlett Packard, museum architects and designers on the new Media Gallery at the Newseum in Washington, DC. to create an interactive technology experience that will allow visitors to view news in new ways.
This project was chosen as the 2013 Large Venue Integration Award Winner by Commercial Integrator and Techdecisions Magazines
