Innovative Encoding Technology Helps to Advance the Mission
Human Circuit was asked to design and build a highly technical infrastructure for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Advanced Training Center in Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia. The goal of this 104–acre facility was to create a learning environment that would teach and successfully prepare our nation’s customs and border patrol agents, and other law enforcement officers, for border incidents and terrorist situations.
Human Circuit designed an audio video (AV) system for managing, distributing, displaying, and archiving the facility’s daily routine and supplied and integrated AV equipment for various buildings throughout the campus.
The audio video systems integration effort included advanced encoding technology specifically designed to help advance the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s mission. An estimated 12,000 customs and border patrol agents, and other law enforcement officers, receive training each year in this facility.
